Well directv won't hook up at my house because of trees. Gets a fine signal but points right at a tree so for QC issues they won't mount a dish. I guess I'm glad they at least admit to me that when the tree blooms in spring service would suck. Now to look at other options. Since I'm probably sticking with at&t fiber I guess I will look arty uverse for tv.

@stronghammer , just get fast ass internet and don't get any type of TV unless it's "a la carte". TV is just a distraction, Jamie and I have lived without it for almost 2 years! We use Netflix and internet streaming apps to get the shows we want and Popcorn time :anonymous:. Besides, you don't need TV if you want them GAINS BRO! :curls: :muscleflexing:

yeah yeah I hear you. I'm just old fashioned and really appreciate having my box, remote, and channels lol. I don't like all this fancy smancy streaming and on demand stuff you kids are in to. I've never even had DVR capabilities before.

Like previously stated, Look in to Sling.. Either that, or just get you an antenna and deal with the 20 channels you get for free floating through the air.

I'm also looking into Playstation Vue. I just don't like the idea personally of having to buy the extra devices to run Sling or PSVue. You have to have apple tv, chromecast, something like that to run it on anything. That to me is annoying.

This is what I am in the process of doing actually. Going to get rid of Comcast Xfinity tv and going with only internet through them. PS Vue for my big tv, then Netflix, apple tv, Roku like apps for the rest of the tvs in the house.

does it not annoy you having to buy all those separate devices like that?
