wait for the next group buy.... but no you dont have to take out the whole headlight u just unlock the current bulb and put the new one in. then plug in the addapters in the right place and bam you have white lights

yea gouge44 is right, thats the hardest part, finding a mounting point for the ballasts...
here you go.. you need h4 hi/lo's, if you want hi/lo's
these are regular ballasts, cheaper and i'd go with 5000k
    http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=102&parent=85

these are slim ballast, more expensive, but same thing as above, h4 hi/lo's
    http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=85

and you'll need this too connect them to eachother
    http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=133&parent=94

and here's how to install it on tacomas
    https://ddmtuning.com/support/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=11&nav=0,1

they are supposed to last a real long time, they burn cooler than our halogens, so longer than 2 years..and the bulbs themselves are cheap
