Accidentally drove about 50 ft with my parking brake on the other day. Doesn't work so well now. Assuming the shoes are fine, a simple adjustment should fix it, correct? Or am I missing something?

does the law in your area specify how long they need to be?
Maybe just trim them to the length that's still legal. I wouldn't worry about buying specialized flaps as thy will prolly get damaged anyway.
Maybe design a set of removable ones?

Or just use the stock ones.

Takes 5 mins to remove all four.

Temporarily "fixed" my passenger side cv boot after cramming her full of grease. Toytec diff drop and new boots on the way. Now hopefully this Gorilla tape, plastic wrap, and zip ties can last a few more days...

Lol so now my truck occasionally dies while idle in my driveway. I live on a hill and once I start it up the idle will get a bit rough at about 500-600 rpms then it dies; one time I gave it a bit of gas while in park and the rpms went up and was fine. Also when I switch to reverse or neutral the truck is fine. This is only at start up, it idles fine at lights while stopped.

Being on a hill this must have something to do with fuel delivery, yes?

Installed a tailgate gasket. Good quality and easy installation. Tailgate is a bit harder to close now, but that means it's working!

Installed a Magnaflow exhaust I got with VW blood money. Little drone-y at highway speeds on the gas. I guess I'll get used to it. This is the first exhaust I've even put on an automatic anything. I think that has something to do with it.

Mechanic also found an odd sound in the engine bay and traced it down to a TB idler pully. TB was replaced about 25k ago and receipt lists the pulleys. Maybe they used cheap replacements or something.

Still working on getting my tailgate handle integrated backup camera wired in. Got my deck plate and camper rear window seal from Amazon. Hoping to try to get those installed this weekend.

Mmm, well a strong pump should be able to overcome an inclined position. Happens regardless of if gas tank is full or empty? Sock filter on pump making it difficult to move gas on incline perhaps?
