Anyone else have this bhlm/grill mod?

On the quest to kill the chrome on my Tacoma. Came out awesome, just wondering if anyone else rockin a similar blacked out front end?

I love personally love the grey with the black exterior on your grille man!!

Just the usual BHLM with no reflectors and scuffed, primed and satin blacked the chrome surround and emblem with some flat clear. Was going to do the whole grill but I liked the graphite center with the silver. Just need an Xrunner lower black center lip now

I want to do the Grill black looks sick. I was just gonna vinyl it.

 

Here's mine. I actually can't stand the grill surround being Red. It's a little too much, so I opted with Black.

Just tape it off real good, used scotch brite pad and comet to scuff it up, primered with self etching, wet sanded, sprayed Krylon Fusion since it adheres to the plastic better, then just cleared with flat. Only cost me about $20 and 2 hours to do.

great job everyone! my chrome is starting to get on my nerves... Time for a color matched grill.

 

I plan on doing some painting/color matching to my TACO next weekend. Going to get rid of all the chrome on grill along with plasti-diping the chrome emblems, and throwing on the BHLM =) Its gonna be awesome! Also great job to all in this thread, the black looks wicked and chrome is overrated lol. Cheers!

I'd love to see this on a silver streak mica with paint matched bumper.

Been thinking about doing this to my truck for a while. Getting tired of the chrome SR5 surround.
