Buying a cheap base model 2010 Prius. 70,000 miles. Needs new tires and headlight restoration. And a full day of detailing the interior.

    $4900

True, but if you are part of an actual club, you actually donate time as well as money.
That being said, TW is not a club, you guys better pay up. :D
I'm not against any sort of yearly pass, I just want to see the money go where it's supposed to go. Rather than closing the trails. And some black and white information on who pays, why and what for. Too much is currently left open to interpretation and it only favors the state.

I think he added more to that list then when I 1st looked. For some reason I only remember reading like 6to7 trails.

There are a lot more FS road on there, I blame him even though I might have just seen what I wanted to see. Much like my politics.

I'm going to drive up to FoCo (while getting 45-50 mpg) just to hunt down Shit Brett so I can drive 19 mph in front of him.

I don't think you'll make it over the pass today, calling for trace amounts of snow.

    Colorado OHV Permit requirements:
All OHVs and motor vehicles (including motorcycles) that display a valid Colorado or out-of -state license plate must also display a current Colorado OHV use permit sticker when operated on designated OHV trails in Colorado.

All out of state OHVs (including OHVs that display an out of state OHV registration) must also display a current Colorado OHV use permit sticker when operated on designated OHV trails or routes in Colorado.

so you still need it, but only for those on the list...those on the list are not actually roads, they are trails...any "trail" that is on a designated road, does not require a permit. only travel on the non-designated roads are required..even for licensed vehicles

What is the difference between "trail" and "road"
is it width? is there a restriction on how wide a vehicle can travel the "trail"
It just sounds like this is geared more towards the side by sides and atv crowd.
For instance, there are several motorcycle "trail" in this area that criss cross regular roads. I would never try to fit down one of those trails, but is that what this is all about?

Yup... I'd be more then fine with an annual pass that would fund helping repair signage, trails, and enforcement of the rules to keep the morons in check. If only that simple idea would be simple to implement.
