True for most except Duratrac. At least in a fairly aggressive tire

WOODEX is correct, i have icon coilovers at about 2.75" of lift and i put 285/70/17 and i had to do a cab mount chop so i wouldnt rub. Only other way to help with rubbing is to push your caster forward when going for alignment but it will still rub some.

OP, i had 265/75/16 on my truck prior to the 285s and if you are doing little to no offroading i wouldnt go 285, get 265 and make it easier on the truck and yourself haha

Duratracs are going to be my next tire.

They are better then KO2s in the wet from what I have read on various forums and reviews.

No cmc required on my 2017 Tacoma pro with 285/70/17 nitto terra grappler g2's on 17x8 wheels with +5 offset. Only trimming I had to do was on the front portion of fender liner and it was Minimal. I have no rub even at full lock in reverse

Well I also have icon so I have more up and down travel, and my tires are nitto ridge grapplers. Maybe whoever did your alignment knew what they were doing and pushed your caster a little forward but that's only good for driving on the street. The cab mount on yours is in the exact same location as mine. Pro suspension or not, it's all the same frame

    SCS F5 - 17x8.5 Matte Gunmetal Cooper ST Maxx - 255.80.17
I created a thread regarding a similar topic. In the end, I went with the Cooper ST Maxx. I personally went with the 17 inch wheels, so 255-80-17. In your case it would be 255-85-16, if you stick with your stock wheels.

People call them Pizza cutters, but I don't think that they are that skinny. Has a wider tread footprint than my stock Trd off road tires...you will have a lot less to no rubbing issues if you set your caster to 3 degrees.
