I guess if my brain was working, I should've asked if the cover... covers the entire rack or just the sides?

 

Covers entire rack front and back. Front and rear have plastic windows so you can see through.

Rear window zips on both sides so you can open. There is a small hole in the plastic in rear. I just put a 3" piece of black duct tape on it and it's been fine

Just curious how you keep the canvas attached? Does it have snaps or does it tie?

 

It gets captured at each corner with on of the bolts through and eyelet on the rack.

To keep the sides down you either tie or what is did was just use Velcro along the bed and on the canvas

 

can you mount a tent while the canvas is on and still keep things dry?

Did you make the canvas cover or did you have it made?
Looking to get one done, I have a aluminum frame from a bed cap that I would like to make into a soft top

 

Had it made custom. But wasn't cheap

A full soft topper is almost cheaper.

I had a softtopper. Great for what it's used for. I sold it only because I got a RTT

Someone is going to get a good deal on my setup for the price.
