So I have 2 vents in my shop that blow to only one side of the building, the guys on the opposite side are always cold or hot, while I freeze my ass off or roast when the ac or heat is on. I'm trying to get the air flow to their side of the shop, so I mocked up this vent scoop thing, I've looked on grainger and gone to all the hardware stores and have come up with nothing. I was told not to add more vents as it would lower the overall air pressure quite a bit and the guys at the end wouldn't hardly feel the air.

Btw my prototype as ugly as it is works fantastic! Thought, opinions and laughs welcome.

I don't have the specifics yet but I showed the adjuster my cab pinch points and mentioned it was not a weldable repair. At that point it's cheaper to replace the cab, but again, no specifics yet.

On a side note I'm waiting to hear if they're going to let me swap parts out or if they included my aftermarket parts in my claim.

If they did, they'll pay me out on the shell and lift, wheels, and other small stuff and include it in my payoff check, so not sure yet if parts will be available to scavenge or if it's going to be paid out as it sits.

I am pinging you with Norcal wheels FS...cheap base steels in Eureka, if you can swing that, he doesn't want to ship. Maybe you could work something out.

You think they could tell the difference between Dakars and an OME lift and stock suspension?

If you did not insure the aftermarket parts, they dont pay you separate for them. When I used to insure a track car, all my parts were insured and it was expensive.

Everything was insured with my policy, just a matter of whether or not they'll fairly pay for the parts or if I negotiate to have them removed and swapped out for a lesser payout.

Your wife lets you keep that in the house? All the good stuff usually ends up outside or in the garage.

So I got this off of craigslist today. 2011 Yamaha Raider, with only 9k miles. First ride around a little windy road and I frikkin love it. Its the bike I almost bought when i was bike hunting 2 years ago and couldnt agree on a price, ended up getting the ZX10R.

So what's the question? lol IMO looking at the photo they should have put one vent one direction and the other in the opposite. But if that contraption works take it to a local hvac shop and have them replicate with sheet metal

State Farm has a clause that includes up to like 5 or 7500 in accessories if I recall correctly

Hate to see that insurance bill. When you itemize your coverage for modifications it is a big increase.

if you didnt itemize, they will let you take off your additions (cap, drawers, racks and such). But a bumper is a bumper, wheels are wheels to them.....

Legit. Looks like a little sheet metal work and you solved your problem and saved mulla.

if that is the case, and it is no increase then I am switching insurance and also buying another track car.

I would call them up I went over this with my agent back when I had my track bike they also cover track days as long as it's not timed so racedays weren't covered but general track days were.

USAA has a similar policy as long as you hold all the receipts
