    3in Tuff Country...
Can anyone explain what backspacing or offset is needed for my truck... 3in tuff county lift, with 275/75/17r, stock UCAs

Currently using quarter inch wheel spacers, I hate them. I've had this set-up for about 8 years now. I've kept the stock TRD alloy wheels on it.

Will new wheels help with aligning the damn thing? How do you guys align your trucks with larger tires and wheels? Thanks,2013-04-05_11-36-52_468.jpg

Wheels will do nothing for alignment issues. If you are having issues it is due to the nature and type of lift you installed. With great components you might be ok to 3",with others not. Most likely your alignment issues are caster related. You will need good adjustable UCAs to correct that.

Agreed; new UCAs sound like what you need. A secondary benefit will likely be that you can remove the wheel spacers since you don't like them.

Another option (concerning getting rid of the wheels spacers only) would be to get aftermarket wheels that'd offer a better backspacing and offset to help stuff the 275s under there with more clearance. Doesn't fix any alignment issues though.

I have some good condition, but used, Camburg uni-ball UCAs if interested, would sell for $250 shipped (they're stripped down to arm and uni-ball joint, so you'll need some fresh replacement bushings/parts from Camburg) but it's a pretty decent deal compared to $700 new.
