Going to the Edmonton game tonight. I hear they didn't put enough shitters in the building though so my colleagues warned me not to drink enough to have to piss.

Probably didn't want to remind the fans about all the time their team has spent in the toilet lately ;)

Fingers crossed Kemper, aka the Wild's giant achilles heel, doesn't let Edmonton speak out a win...

Was lucky enough to go to a game in the new building in Edmonton, last Oct. I didn't recall having an issue with washrooms. The building was nothing short of spectacular!!!

Eesshh!! The Oilers look like they're still on the All-Star break. And Minni looks like they're out for blood. I'm thinking my team is gonna get slaughtered tonight.

:woot: Not a single point for McDavid in three games against the Wild. Gotta say thats a pretty foolproof plan for beating Edmonton

Kemper was good. Edmonton had lots of shots but they were almost all from the perimeter. He didn't have to work that hard. The Wild really peppered Talbot though. Maybe one of the goals was on him, the others before he got pulled were on the team. They just let the Wild setup and do whatever they wanted.
It's a nice building for sure. The wide open spaces seem a bit odd, like they forgot to build a few things inside, but otherwise its very nice. There is definitely a problem with the washrooms though. At no time was there not a line and some of them were 5 minutes or more long. Unacceptable. The one by our seats, we were in section 107, had at least 3-4 feet between each urinal which is nice but kind of a joke when you have to wait so long to piss. With all the spare room in the building though it shouldn't be a hard problem to fix if they want to.

They let McDavid have one good break, which drew a penalty. Other then that he was pretty much a non factor.

Maybe they'll add more toilets and urinals. Eventually. With beer at about 10 bucks a pop - I assumed not much drinking would occur (I don't really drink at all - so I don't care)......so who knows.
As for the wide open spaces. At first I felt that was odd too. But then I recalled several of the games I had seen at Rexall Place. That place was a nightmare to get around in. Especially at the end of the game. Wall to wall people - and major bottle-necks. So I'm quite grateful that they overcompensated on that aspect.

That was the other odd thing. They have way more alcohol only concessions than food concessions. I grabbed a pizza and got asked twice by a parent with a child where to go to get food. They have a few changes to the building to make.

The sippy cup type lids on the draft beer were nice though. You could actually carry a few full beers back to the seats if you were entertaining clients like I was.

As a self-entitled American I demand to have AT LEAST 3'-4' of space between urinals. If not, I will sue. I also will only drop a deuce in the handicap stall. Again, because I'm a self-entitled American.

FYI, Where will Hitchcock end up? Las Vegas?

That slashing call on that break was about as light as a feather.

In other news, Marchand pulled almost the exact same stunt that he just got fined $10k for... that's two slew foots/dangerous trips in like a week. Maybe time for something besides a slap on the wrist?

If you believe the rumors coming out of Boston, if Boston isn't in a playoff spot after their mandated break that's coming up then they will be sellers at the trade deadline and likely deal on of their core players. I wonder who it will be...

I actually was a little surprised. But I thought the whole set-up with Yeo there for the year, ready to take his place, was odd. Not a smart move. But I guess it was hard to let Hitch go after St.L finally had their best year in awhile, last year. I think the GM shoulders a lot of the blame also. I'm not sure why they thought Elliot wasn't doing a good enough job, the past couple years. Allen is either playing badly or just was never a starter material to begin with. Plus, losing Backes hurt. The timing of things and just how certain things were handled, spreads the blame out to a few areas, for me. But I do hate how Hitch handles his goaltenders.

I go into the stall to piss but also to vape undetected. I'm usually in there for a couple of minutes. If someone shits themselves because of that it's not my problem.
