Just got out of church and some one dented my truck!!!

I think it happened yesterday in a Whole Foods parking lot, but of course there was no note or anything. I now have a dented rear corner between the wheel arch plastic and the rear bumper. The plastic is fine, the bumper looks fine, but the panel's dented in far enough that all the clips broke - and the paint is split on the bottom. Just got off the phone with the insurance, they're going to see it tomorrow but looks like I have to pay my deductible :frusty: Even worse, there's white paint on there, and I remember now the car parked next to me was a stupid white X5 that backed in. You can even see how they pulled in, dented it, then backed out the same direction they came for. GRRR!!!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest - I knew many could relate.

Wait for that car to come back next week and have a word with them. Seriously though, that sucks. I hope you get it figured out.

I'd love to find that other car, but I'm guessing it was at whole foods - and that would be tough!

Worst part, only reason I was there was to buy the wife some friggin' roses...

Check with the Whole Foods manager and see if they have any camaras in the parking lot. I know alot of stores are have them for loss prevention measures. Last year somebody hit my wifes car at the grocery store and they luckly had camars so we could get the tag number. But.....the car belonged to some mexicans with no insurance.

    back to bone stock.
on the flip side: i once lightly tapped a parked car behind me. i had a trailer hitch, so i put a tiny square shaped dent in this beat down, lowered, tri-colored acura integra. i left a note, with my phone number. i got a bad feeling, so i did a u-turn and took some pictures. sure enough the mother effers came at me with a $2k bill! he was so grateful i left a note, "you are a good person", "wish there were more like you"..crap. i told them to eff off,and called my insurance, gave them the pics. my insurance company got them down to $1700. they never fixed the car! (neighbors) they had a friend at a body shop do a trumped up estimate to milk me. it sucked, and left a really bad feeling about doing the right thing.

karma came back and kicked me in the nuts...an old man ripped my bumper off. 2 weeks later!! a lady wrote down his tag# and i tracked it down. i rang the doorbell, and the owner was a tick from being homeless..he was living in filth, no insurance, no money..i left cussing, and went to a junkyard and found all the parts and DIY it for about $80. God was testing me, or is a fantastic jokester.

That sucks man. And if you don't have any info for the other person- You probably are on the hook for the deductible.

Even if you got the other person you might have to pay it out initially and then get cut a check back form the insurance folks when all was said and done.

    Best of luck-Think UPGRADES!!!
