I put my 4" maxtracs on. And when I did I got a huugee shake around 35-40 mph. Ive seen videos and I think its the driveline. Has anyone had this problem and is it common? If it doesnt go away ill end up taking the spindles off. Any advice?

Try a carrier bearing drop and possibly a small driveshaft spacer.

Did you buy the spindles used or new? You could be bottoming out the bearing in the spindle. If its new that wouldn't be the case. Alignment will cause the shakes too.

Brand new. I contacted maxtrac and they said I could prossibly need a carrier bearing drop.

If not that, a bad wheel bearing could cause a wobble if there is enough play.

Get that CB drop and see if that helps.

Ok so I Used the level on my iphone and the front part of the driveshaft read 7.8 degrees and the back half read 9.0 degrees. Could this small of a change cause the shaking?

My drive line looks pretty straight and it says its balanced. Could this be a tie rod problem?

Also my truck kicks into one if it gears really hard. I think its 3rd. I checked the trans fluid and it seems good. Its an automatic.

I flipped them when I put the spindles on but the do seem loose. Loose as in when i put my truck on a jack they have a little play left to right.

Finally found out the backspacing on the stock steelies that i have (same ones @Taco Nation has in his pic). They are 5.5 bs. Will these 16"s with 5.5 be enough to use the spindles? Will spacers be needed for the front? Was only planning on getting 1.25" for the rears.
