    I wasn't suggesting you put it on your truck. Keep a shackle(s) on mounting points at all times and tighten them up. Carry at least one other shackle to use to attach winch line or a strap. This keeps the shackles on your truck tight from falling out, wiggling off or being easily stolen and allows you to easily attach your strap when stuck in a mud hole with your bumper under water.

    Do you already have a setup? And no compressor? If you have neither, I'd go with a compressor. It refills itself.
