Looks like it's about time for @MCMFab to start putting some pics and info for the 1st Gen Tacoma/Tundra race kit on his website!

i agree with everyone saying to do it right and install everything all at once. For the price of the AP kit you might as well just go with the TC the kit, the fit and finish is just so much nicer and its TC i mean c'mon 20+ years making yota kits. Not knocking the AP kit by any means if i found the newer version used for the right price id buy it and throw it on my 4runner without any hesitation what so ever.

I'm excited to start getting my trucks front end buttoned up. I'm happy with the build quality of the kit and how beefy it is.

Yeah it's hard to stomach financially and psychologically when you realize you just spent a bunch of money and time and end up changing it all. Many on here have done and many more will in the future, just take it as a learning experience. And you always get back some of the money you spent on old parts when you sell them. I'm in the same boat as you, spent a shit load on parts and realized I fucked it all up and should put on a TC kit from the start.

Have you thought about the Solo Motorsports kit? That kit was amazing on my truck and soaked everything up like it wasn't even there. 17.5"ish of 4wd travel

If my old truck didn't go the route it did I was really thinking about the solo kit to keep 4x yet get more travel! All about those numbers right fuck valving lol

    If ur 2wd then I'm a little bias :D

It's not all about the travel numbers. But why not have travel and have your shocks dialed. Just saying

I have a Camburg kit but if I had waited it out 6 months I could of gone with LSK. I believe their kit fits 35s on 4x4s and uses a fabbed spindle instead of the stock one.

The fabbed spindle is the biggest thing holding me off at this point. The biggest thing with the camburg kit is I don't see doing that and keeping a stock spindle. I could build one but frankly can't have my truck down long enough to do that. I already jammed 35s onto it :D.
