I can let you know if I ever part with it! I'm going to mount a winch one day and see if that breaks it. That'll be a good test

I think I've had it over this debate!

I'm always looking for a deal and this has it. Steel is steel, I'm not using it as a fucking bulldozer! It will work for my tastes should I buy this, rather make my own though. Probably will.

Also, do we really know it comes from China? I mean, is it really 100% NOT made in America? It could be...
Was it right to rip off someone? HELL NO! Does it happen every day to company's much larger? Yes!

If you want this bumper, it fits, with help. But it's fucking steel! No truck is going to be the EXACT same, ever. There are certain allowed tolerances.

Good luck to both sides of the fence! :)

I bought a Yeti, because I don't like to buy knock off shit.

You advertise for an expensive brand with your screen name.

In retrospect, you are 100% right man!

The add says it fits 12-15 with "modifications", I don't think I'm a fan of that.

Time for me to buy a sheet of steel, some tubing, and give one of the shop guys a :jerkoff: to help me build a bumper!

Morals and values, because Yeti didn't steal the design, Walmart fucking blows, Yeti home office is in Austin Texas, and again, Yeti didn't steal anything.

ok man, taking a half inch notch out of the back of the bumper doesn't inherently weaken the whole thing.

I'm not sure if you've seen it in action at Rausch, @Arcticelf can verify that i've banged it really hard climbing up out of a hole and besides lost paint have no damage.

@dirty deeds if I was in your shoes (time is hard to come by these days), I'd just buy it and work with the modifications. It's like buying a coloring book that's mostly done. you just have to cut and tape a few pieces of paper to get it how you want. that's just my opinion anyways haha

I don't see why the made in China label is bad. Trump used China manufacturers to make his hats.

I think the "few hundred more" is why people are actually buying this bumper.

What Chevy mid-size was less in 2013? None. No one made a mid size in 2013 except Toyota and Nissan. Not ford. Not Chevy. Not Dodge. No one.

More expensive is not a promise for better product.

I do believe I said except Toyota and Nissan. The Colorado wasn't available. There was no hint that Chevy, or any other company, was even interested in the mid size market.

    What...yea we all drive tacomas.
This is about bumpers.. then got into quality control over this cheap bumper.

I'm just sayn even a "well known" company can have shitty quality control and worse customer service.
