Don't know Sue but wish for an early recovery for her. Did or will the doctors do a bone density scan, if she does have that issue there is a drug that can increase bone density. It works , at least my wife says so.

I don't really need to know the answer, but Sue does.

Sue is a different case as she already has major health issue. She can barely move around as it is. Not able to really use her hands and balancing is rough. I can't remember the name of the condition she has. Its really long. Has something to do with her nerve ending shielding getting eaten away and muscle lose and dexterity. It's been a miracle this hasn't happened for the last 5 years. It was bound to though at some point.

Going to be a long recovery for her. But she is strong minded. Hopefully pulls through.

 

I work in orthopedics and pelvic fx suck because they are a fracture you have to sit on while it heals which is usually 4-6 weeks until it's not painful. Not jealous of that one! Pelvis is very rare to have surgery on. Wrist is way more common but in a cast she will be way more comfortable in a few days

 

Sorry to hear about your friend. Hopefully she will make a full recovery. Who is she?

 

My aunt. Has been living with my mom and dad for 5 years or so now.

 

Oh nice. Good on your parents for taking her in and helping her out, that's cool.

Understatement!

She is strong minded. Considering all of the challenges she has dealt with and overcome in many ways in the past few years, I am optimistic she will do the same with this one.

Do first gens have needle bearings in the front diff that the CV rides in? My front diff got a solid bushing in place of the stock needle bearing that was causing a worn bearing noise...

Yes. Not like how common it is on 2nd gens but yes, it does happen and ECGS makes a puller for it too.
