Here's my fleetwood Yuma. Been a tent camper all my life and this fit my budget and needs. Love it and use it a ton.

Tents on wheels and off the ground. Pretty much the best way to camp, anything more is "Glamping"

Agree! My favorite camper was our 1974 Starcraft. No heat, no lights, no water. Just a table and two beds!

Do not tow it with the Tacoma though.

It's a 1991 Coleman Colorado. I think it was the last year. It's got a few small needs, but I've redone the interior upholstery, cut a memory foam mattress to fit, painted the interior and did a truck bed spray on the exterior. I went from a 4pin to a 5pin harness and added LED lights for backing up at night. All LED lights on the exterior, and a new pedestal table inside. We bought her for $1600 about 6 years ago and it was on the Expedition Portal site- the guy put in leaf springs, added Jeep wheels and axle, modified the wheel wells and did a fake wood floor. Beats a tent, and I can move it by hand to get it in and out of the garage. These have a kind've cult following with lots being modded to ride tall like mine.

I will try to find pics of the inside.... if you can find one, they're usually $1000-2000 depending and Bear Creek still makes the canvas and the road cover. That's what mine needs- the cover shrinks up and gets brittle.

Thanks again hogeyphenogey. My son and I frequent the coast (fishing/camping) during the cooler parts of the year and this would be perfect. My daughter will always require a hotel though. :D

For such a small camper, it sure looks quite accommodating!! Thanks for the pics. You've sold me on the idea so my search begins.

Here are a few pictures of our new Kimberley Kamper. Finishing up getting it kitted to travel and plan to make extensive use out of it. Better pictures when the weather cooperates.
