Well, I'm already irritated with AT&T lol. Ok, not really but since DirecTV couldn't install at my house you know...shouldn't be billed for it right? Well I was, now gotta get that figured out...always something..

Does it say what type of charge it is? Service fee or something? I had the same issue with Comcast a couple times where they charged me for a technician to come to my house for "diagnostics". Both times the problem was on their end and they tried to charge me for their guy to come to my house to fix THEIR problem. Needless to say, after much fowl language to the appropriate individuals, the fee was waved.

LOL yea, that should get waved. Problem is, companies these days are greedy and even though you don't have it they will keep the charge on you until you contact them. They SHOULD delete the charge since they know you don't have the equipment but they only see the money. If you cant tell, I have a serious ill will towards cable companies.

Yeah I mean I understand I just hate having to do a little extra work because they screwed up. The technician even said "you won't have to deal with DirecTV anymore since we can't install"

Well, after the second call I spoke with Mr. LookoutImightbeabomb and he actually cancelled it all out in about 1 minute. First lady was Ms. CantspeakalickofEnglish and she was worthless and sent me to the wrong department.

On to more important truck stuff. My skid plates should be here in 2 weeks. Once they are put on the really on thing I like from being ready for Moab is sliders.

comcast is so much more expensive in the quotes I got than DirecTV was going to be, same reason I'm not going for U-verse. DirecTV gave me more channels, free boxes, discounts for bundling etc etc and was just cheaper than any of my other options. So I'm leaning towards doing PSVue, Netflix, and an external antenna for local channels and that's it. Be around 90$/month with the AT&T Fiber too.

you not worried about bumpers and whatnot? they aren't necessary, but useful. as long as your have recovery points, I'll have the winch and bumpers.
