Not a matter of luck, a matter of $$ :(

Gotta find a way to sell a bunch of stuff to get a new bumper. Might just be saving birthday/xmas money and buying one next year. Also sorta concerned I may need to upgrade some suspension stuff if I start adding that much weight up front.

Yea, I'll definitely be upgrading my suspension before I put on my winch. The hybrid bumper is a lot lighter than most of the steel aftermarket bumpers though. I currently have a heavy ass fabfours bumper on, and my front end doesnt sag with the stock suspension.

Picked it up a few months ago to spray Plasti Dip. Should be good for primer too. A smaller nozzle might be better for other coats but it could likely work just as well if you're not going for high quality auto-body finish. I'll say this though, spray guns are freakin awesome. And HVLP still gets paint dust on everything. Make sure you have a mask and practice a bit on some cardboard so that you avoid runny paint. Also, be patient painting round bars. I painted my cross bars for my bed rack and it's easy to overspray. A lot of waste too.

So this will be going up for sale once I get my Pelfreybilt bumper. FabFours Vengeance front bumper. Will probably sell for $600. Sells new for around $1300 with the black powdercoat it has on it. Has some small drill holes where the small Feniex T3 lights are mounted. Never crashed or dented. It came from the original owner of the truck, but it can't be more than year or two old.

Does this help with approach angle? It looks like it may not, and instead just serve as a steel replacement bumper.

Yeah, looks like it uncovers the wheels there but I'm not sure that'll help with straight-on angle. Guess I could always try to google a profile shot.

Anyways, wouldn't fit my truck- 05-11 are different. Forgot about that.

Who's grey taco is that in the video getting up that section by the fence? It was awesome to see it from multiple angles.

Yes, it is a lot steeper angle than a stock Tacoma bumper.

I'm pretty sure that's me. Wish I had a better camera angle from in the truck, but that's the best I could come up with!
