Anyone here on the Houston Area Off Road Recovery Facebook page? If so did you see that intense recovery yesterday?

 

I used to be, until it filled up with morons and I deleted FB .. what happened

 

A guy parked by the water and the truck slipped out of park and went over a little 3 foot drop into about 9ft of water. The entire truck just sunk down to the frame in the mud underwater and they put a huge effort into getting it out. Even had some people diving down to get a strap on it. Pretty crazy stuff.

 

I thought @phillstill is, or was, watching that.

 

Insurance scam lol. I can never see a vehicle "slipping out of park".

 

I'm not saying it's not a scam, just was kind of crazy to see all the effort into getting it out. There was a redneck guy in his underwear just diving in the water and stuff.

Ahh! Yeah I see them on Facebook but I don't pay attention to most of there posts anymore. Honestly I'm afraid I'm a going to see someone die during one of their live feeds. A lot of them get excited with the thought of recovering a vehicle and all logical thought processes go out the window.
