I have the cooled seat problem and I'm starting to have the leather wrinkle problem you can see it in this picture. Shouldn't be happening on a $63,000 truck but overall I'm in love with it

One thing that keeps me from buying Ford is that they switch engines too much.

Maybe it's just me ... but it's hard for me to give up the traditional V8 in a full size truck.

I know, I have heard good things on the 3.5 V6 Ecoboost, but I can't wrap my brain around winding up that little engine in a big truck.

    Old school to me on a F150 RC/SB = 5.0 V8 with duals and a small gurgle-growl ... :D

Maybe, I am too old for newer things ... except I could go for that 450HP V6 EcoBoost in my Tacoma ... :burnrubber:

Believe me. I am in the same boat but after driving both, the constant torque of the 3.5TT is exhilarating. After a tuner it is even much better.

My last truck was an F-150 and my dad just got this bad MF'r. The 3.5TT is unreal for that big a truck with 35's.

My Tacoma is totaled, so currently on the fence between an F150 and a GM.. also on the fence of 5.0 or 2.7 EB. I have only owned N/A vehicles, and the thought of a small displacement, TT motor doesn't give me warm fuzzies for a long term ownership.

I haven't driven anything yet, or visited a dealer.

Heard EB turbos shit the bed around 100k miles and have all kinds of other problems. I'd go for the 5.0.

...^^^... The 5.0 is an excellent engine  and can last long term without squeezing it guts out o_O to accelerate :burnrubber:

If it was between Ford & GM ... I might lean toward the aluminum bodied Ford with a 5.0 V-8.

Have 2 friends with the 3.5TT and they love it.
