AZ BS Thread 4²0

Very interesting start to my 5 day weekend. Was out hiking in thunderbird mountain preserve and me and my dog got attacked by another dog. Thankfully I took the worst of it my pups skin didn't get punctured at all but my hands did. My thumb is swollen and jammed up as I tried to get the other dog to release its jaws from around my pups neck.

What sucks the most is their dog was a rescue and a pitbull. It pisses me off that incompetent owners are the reason that those two things get such a bad rap.

I did scare the hell out of them with how calm I was as I handled the entire situation as they were screaming not knowing what to do. As I was calmly asking the lady for their information she was balling her eyes out and kept asking how I could be so collected.

 

Dog wasnt leashed I assume? Sorry to hear.

 

Both dogs were leashed. Their dog lunged and over powered the guy holding the leash. I was between both dogs. But that shit happens quick

 

Yea, ive been bit that way before. Trying to separate two fighting dogs is rough. My arm was black red and blue for weeks.

The best way to get a dog to release his bite is to (no joke) put a finger up his ass. He will forget about the bite instantly. Sorry to hear about the attack.

Edit. Which I am not a big fan of cause I feel it implies I flake out. Which if you know me. If I say I'm going to do something or be somewhere I am there.
