I've experienced the Entune calling my iPhone three times immediately after starting the truck. No pattern yet.

If you start caring a conversation with yourself over the phone while driving down the road nobody will think anything about it these days. But I wouldn't tell anybody about it. And if you answer your own questions with wrong answers you got problems.

I don't know anything about CDs with regard to the player. Frankly, I don't mess around with CDs anymore. If I want the music, I rip it into MP3 and stream it to the system via Bluetooth. My girlfriend carries around a bunch of CDs and her Tacoma, but that's too much bulk for me. I suppose, if you have a large collection that you like listening to, ripping them is not an option as it's too time-consuming. Sorry, can't offer much help regarding a multiple cd feed.

Hey, at least your phone is working with the system!

Thanks for the post, and keep on truckin'!

There is no pattern with mine. It just does it when it wants to, and you're correct, it starts when I start my truck and the phone connects.

Wow...I have a developer account with Apple and this 'auto dialing' is the 1st I have heard of this. I ran 10.2.1 until DEV-10.3 came out and I've had no issues outside of the standard ones of incompatibility.

I do not have any apps installed on ENTUNE, it is up to date (no new software since I bought the taco) and I have nothing installed on the iPhone7. (like entune or toyota apps). I dont use iHeart radio or Pandora or anything.

The only issue people SHOULD be having is the inability to respond to a text either via voice response or quick-reply (you must use SIRI to respond) and the fact that emails to the iPhone will not trigger alerts on Entune nor can you read/view any emails.

Marshmallow on Android runs flawlessly on Entune.

I am pretty disappointed overall with the adaptation of Apple and virtually ANY car manufacturer. Apple always takes a back seat with operability vs Android.

Email? Now that you mention it, I do recall that Entune was supposed to receive email messages, but, to date, I haven't seen a one! The text feature seems to work OK and it's pretty cool, Especially when it reads the text to you. My personal email isn't that important anyway. (Most of the time my girlfriend just forwards me junk.)

I haven't had an Android phone since I switched to my iPhone 6 plus in 2015, so I wouldn't know how well Android operates with Entune, but I'll take your word for it. Overall, I can say I'm pretty satisfied with the iPhone operation w/Entune. It's just when the self dialing thing occurs, it's really a PITA!

Thanks for the feedback, and keep on truckin'!
