Got New Headers Not sure they are Correct

Hey I just received my DT Tri Y? Does anybody know or remember the part number(THY-506)? Are the 2.4 and 2.7 the same? What did it look like? when I was looking on the internet the "pic" looked like the front 2 cly went together then the back 2 cly combined then those 2 combined thus the "tri y". The one I recieved all 4 cly combined in one. Thx Adam

 

Well it seems the 2.4 and 2.7 are the same. So that is cool but still wondering if these are the Tri Y. I want to put these on so if anyone knows it would be much appreciated. Thx

That is what I thought. I specificly asked for the Tri Y. They are from URD. Not sure what to do. Is it a big enough differance to make a stink. I dont want to be a dick but but it is a lot of money and I want to get what I asked for. Any thoughts?Advice? Thx

 

Be a "Dick!" It's your money and if that isn't what you wanted then tell them. Would you give me $600+ then be skittish about asking for it back. You paid for something, get you want ordered. Don't let them be a dick and send you want they want you to have.....

Does anyone know which bolts? When Auto Anything asks 3.5 or 4.25. When I measure from the outside top to the lower hole I get 3.5 and When you measure from the center top to the lower I get 4.25. Would like to get these coming they are have a sale this weekend and my crack is not getting any better. Besides all that it will just be damn cool to have them on. Thx

 

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your new header.

That is the only header we have for your application. If wish you may return it.

Toyota for some reason released a few trucks with a different size flange that bolts to the catalytic converter. The difference size options deals only with the catalytic converter flange.

It is just from the research on here it seems most are happier with the low to mid range power of the Tri-y. With no personal experiance that what I have to go on. I just wish there wasnt a miscomunication. It is just a waste of time, resources and money on both parts.

Does anybody have 1st hand experience with the LC Engineering header on 2.7? And what is going to be the differance between that and the 4 into 1 I have. I am just wondering what to do. I have to would have to send these back and spend more to get the LC or Tri-y. Is it worth it? Or should I just put these on and save the time and money?

URD does NOT offer the Tri-y's. They indicate on their site that it is only the 4-1 chrome headers.

I bought mine from TRDparts4u.com, you'll have to call Gerone to get them.

It'll be cheaper to keep the ones you have, but tri-y's will definitely be an improvement.
