Dang that sucks. I was just about to ask you about it too. It is kind of small so I would expect a permit is needed.

It also said apply 180 days in advance. I'm no numbers expert, but I'm pretty sure you missed that by a good chunk of days

Right, but, you still have to apply 180 in advance for the permit. Which doesn't matter since you're not going to do that anyways.

You also answered "no" to all the questions at the bottom. Interested to see how many drop before the event though.

That's how I do superstition. Just kinda let things go. Never had an issue. You don't have banners set up so that helps.

I feel there's something seedy going on with. TAP trona. Theres insurance, cleanup, portajohns, etc that goes on with that kind of crowd. Plus, its a national monument and small venue. I doubt BLM would freely give a permit out for such a small venue and such a large group. I'm foregoing trona that weekend. It also defeats wanting to get out of dodge and away from people.

Its not that popular. Lots of people haven't heard of it. Same with Valley of the Moon. But you're right, its quite the gamble. Just glad my name isn't behind their dealio

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Who has all ordered from the Iggy group buy? Shall we plan a mod day to run all the wiring? :D

What's that camping light look like? Been thinking about attaching something to the back of my prinsu rack for setting up camp and I usually cook on the tailgate.

oohhh I already have some great ideas for rear-facing strobe lights while out camping.... I can only imagine what alcohol would inspire!! Cheers to you not being smarter & me saving money on the 1 I wanted  Here's a real-life diffused picture, I think it's 2 40w diffused lights flush mounted in the bumper, but I can't see the actual lights in the picture any better than you can.

Being on a stock bumper that is counting it's days... I'm opting for regular pods. I'd like to mount it rear-facing on a cage/rollbar/etc. at some point and the flush mounts won't work for that.

Yeah I'm trying to decide if the end of the bed rails facing inward slightly is best for viewing angles (the tailgate is likely coming off again) or if up at the top of the box is best. One way gives better in-bed viewing... the other gives much better general viewing.

My ideal placement is off a roll cage up high by the 3rd brake light. I'd even like the move the backup camera up there. WAAAYYY more useful in my opinion.
