Anyone out there think a supercharger will ever happen with the 3.5? Can it be done with the Atkinson engine?

I think there's a part of the better fuel economy thing they are trying to go for that you're missing out on. Not that it's actually working out for them but, you know.

A turbo one day maybe but don't see a supercharger at all.

The 4.0 has more low speed torque for sure. The 3.5 needs rpms to make power..... the 3.5 really seems to be just happy spinning up. It runs like a sewing machine at high speed. The 4.0 doesn't like high speed. Meh, it's just the way it was made.

In all honesty, the 3.5 is just fine. Just give it more gas and it'll scoot.

I agree with all of that, But the truck isn't smooth at all driving it slow or fast. The shifting is so jerky in this thing I have never driven anything worse in my 41 years.
