I hear they may be making it easier to conceal carry here soon.

LOL. Yeah they have some pretty messed-up laws down there when it comes to guns. I lived in Arizona for 38 years the second most gun-friendly state in the country. You don't even need a concealed carry permit when carrying a loaded gun

 

Carrying a gun in legally in MD is nothing but a pipe dream at this point. All of the surrounding states have pretty relaxed gun laws.

 

New Jersey not so much, very similar to MD, DE allows for concealed carry, however you need to take out an advertisement announcing yer intentions to the neighbors and anyone else that will read it.

 

CHLs can be had in Maryland. Just takes a decent amount of effort. Business owners can get them relatively easily

 

However the scope of use is so small unless you work for Dunbar it's pointless

Not to mention we don't have a castle law so you'd still have to attempt to flee first

? Did the wording change and I wasn't aware? Last time I looked into it it specifically called out that you can only carry at your place of buisiness, and carrying large amounts of cash to and from a bank, and that was it, aside from a Clause about protection agencies
