It's just to the left of the mirror. I contacted the company because radio interference is a common issue with dash cams. They suggested that I use the USB charger that was included with the camera and it did help a little.

I did to the right side of mirror, purposely, if I was sitting on the driver's side, the rear view mirror would block most the unit. didn't really need to see the unit. the beeping already gave me enough hints if working or not.

but, i'm new to 3rd gen tacoma, so i did installed the dash cam with cigarette adaptor charger, follow plug the USB cable (which it lit up blue, i thought was kinda cool to match the gear shifting lighting)

Mine is back to crappy reception. I didn't have the greatest reception to begin with in the foothills of OC and this just made it a little worse, which is now really bad. I really like the camera but now I am seriously considering the Thinkware F770.

Some dash cams have better shielding than others. I've had a Mobius installed on the GoPro mount for nearly a year without any effect on the reception, but I have read that others have had issues with their Mobius cameras.

I've learned now to try the dash cam before mounting it to see how it affects the radio, allowing for an easier return, if needed. I'm going to try the Toguard in the wife's Prius to see if it works any better.

I have a Thinkware F770 and I've not noticed any radio reception differences from before I had it.

That's good to know. I was also considering a Blackview but read several comments about radio interference with them.
