Toyota getting bashed because of GM

GM= goverment motors

Notice every recall Toyota has or TSB is getting press. Does GM currently have recalls and TSB's? Yeah.

No manufacture has more recalls or TSB's then GM. Notice now that the government owns GM, the press is totally bashing Toyota.

Jesus fucking C****t! Another thread about this. Did it ever occur to any of you that the press is crucifying Toyota because if the did it to GM it would be considered beating someone while they are down? It is not a conspiracy, there is no grassy knoll, it is the media going after a story for ratings. They did it to Audi in '88 and it almost bankrupted them, the government found Audi as having no fault, but 60 Minutes falsified video evidence to sell the story. Calm down.

 

Of course they're going to go after Toyota when their reputation has been built around having higher quality than everyone else. Not like GM was known for that. With my previous vehicle being an 07 Impala SS I'm still active on an Impala forum and all the diehard only buy GM guys are having a field day with Toyota's problems. Naturally they get pissed when us former owners that have moved to import brands point out GM's deficiencies they get their panties all in a bunch. There's several who have moved on to Subaru WRX STI's, those guys particularly like stirring the pot there haha.

I agree. A government "conspiracy" is kinda a lame excuse. I think the media is blowing it out of proportion (read swine flu) but it's no part on the government. Why would we want to piss off the Japanese and Toyota? Toyota has provided tons of jobs in the USA.
