My wife grew up in UCLA, the Ugliest Corner of Lower Alabama (Ozark/Dothan).

 

So my place I ordered my tires from said they are on back order but could be in anytime. Just in case my impatience hits me in the face and I MUST. HAVE. NOW....im back on the hunt for tires, for the time being.

 

Where did you order them from?

 

I have a buddy that works at a dealership that is price matching Discount Tire Direct's price. Not sure who his supplier is though.

 

I'll sell you my 17" sport rims. They still have the HP Dueller's on them with 6.5/16th tread.

Thanks guys. A lot of hard work went into it. But it's all worth it. Truck ride great and the setup is just how I like it

 

may I ask, with your tent at that height, why would you not go camper shell? is it just personal preference/cost or is there actually a functionality reason?

 

I still have an open bed of my truck I can throw shit in. And I have the storage boxes. I only made the rack this tall specifically for the tent annex room. So my tall ass cab stand under it comfortably

 

Right, I get all that, but all of that is possible as well with a shell - throw shit in - storage boxes, but it's more weatherproof. Just didn't know if there was a separate function that made rack the decision over shell, because most of the time it seems the height of the shell and/or the appearance is what keeps people from it.
