I just don't get 300 dollars to save me 5 min. If there was another incentive other than just decreasing air up time, I'd be all over it

On Amazon a twin is 500 then 70 for the manifold to run lockers. Then 100 for the bracket. So like 670 for oba. Or spend 200 on the single, manifold included, and 100 on the bracket. 300 total. If I found a twin for 320, I'd be all over it. Just never seen one that cheap.

I don't get it either. Other than people like to show off what money they spent. Another pro of the ARB is it's quiet though.
My smittybilt 2780 is loud, takes 3-4 mins per tire filling from 15 to 40 psi, and I'm usually the first person done airing up. Compressor was $79

You're pretty young from what I gathered on here. When you're older it will make much more sense. For me, Time is more valuable than money.

I usually have three passengers with me, and it waiting to air up tires was just dreadful.

I gladly spent top dollar to cut my air up time down to 8 minutes. That's 8 minutes from the time I pull the air house out, to stowing it away. 19-40 PSI on 33" tires.

I'm 23 so you are right. And I get the wisdom that time is more valuable than money. Believe me, I wish I had more time in my day to day, but it's still a very large amount of money for very little reward. The cost/benefit ratio is shit.

When you don't have an extra 300 to blow, money is pretty damn valuable. To me, I am spending the 300 total to get my OBA set up and will be able to air up from 18-34 psi on 33" tires in about 12 min since right now it takes me about 15 with my shitty compressor (rough estimate). So really I'm losing like 5 minutes of my day each time I go wheeling (Approximately every other month, I know you go a lot more so it probably makes more sense for you) so I'm losing 30 min/year. So over a year, I would be paying 10 dollars per minute I save. Time is valuable, if I got paid 10 dollars a minute, I'd be all over that twin.

It's not like 5 minutes affects your day that much when you are on vacation. If I was trying to get to work or something, I might care about 5 min. Most of the time I'm aired down, it is a fairly relaxing day that I don't have much planned for. That is why it's fun. Don't need to rush around and save such an insignificant amount of time.

I am not knocking your decision to get a twin in any way. I am just saying that it may be great for your situation, but none of you know mine. If it was better for mine, I would get it.

Also, if I found one for as cheap as @inv3ctiv3 did, I'd grab it in a heartbeat. @inv3ctiv3 if you still have it in your recent orders from Amazon, do you mind throwing me a link so I can pick one up for that price?

ARB is the bomb. Only have one product of theirs that my dad got me for my birthday last year but damn it is sick and total overkill for what it is.

It's just a little diff breather relocate kit that I could have done with spare parts. But free is free and I wasn't complaining.

    Just very good quality stuff.

That is why I am gonna go with them on compressor and awning when I get one! Also they are one of the few vendors that sells through Amazon and that 5% cash back! haha.

Also if you are still thinking of selling your RTT, hit me up. GF and I want an upgrade in size.

A man who knows his stuff! In my case I have nothing but time so the DIY and cheaper route is my way. Also I bet that guy didn't think about tire size before he called me a dick lol.

OK man.. No one said anything about tire size, it can only be inferred that I mean my tires as it's my compressor and my numbers.. Basically you're just showing your ass. :notsure: Think what you like, I was giving facts about a budget compressor. My time is worth more than arguing with you.

If you want to be fast just get CO2, Or take up a project and do a converted Sanden AC compressor.

If all you are doing is filling tires then a twin may be overkill. But when paired with a 5 gallon air tank, it's one hell of a setup that can run air tools and fill just about anything for those looking for additional capabilities.

I was looking into running air tools at first and was going to go with a twin, but don't really see a need in my travels. Would be pretty cool though.

Ps. How is the new truck coming along? Glad you made it out of the last one okay!
