I gotta pull the trigger on this. Does TW get a discount or free shipping?

He's planning on another GB in the spring. People are already lining up for it in the old thread but officially there's no list yet.

    Thank you.

Looks great! Good idea. This could even be done at the back of a cap. Thanks for sharing.

Received my Prinsu TopRac and Cab Rack last night. I will plan to open and assemble this weekend.

Quick qustion -- I'm currently running a Leer 100XQ camper / topper / shell. It does not have any rail system to mount the toprack to.
Looks like Thule or Yakima rail / chanel system is my best

Came across this from SURCO which is rated 4X time stronger than the Yakima or Thule ( overkill @ 1000lbs force)

They make these in 6ft sections. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these rails?

Lots of mount accessorizes that are available for this type of system.

We use these in securing equipment and cargo in aircraft. There are other vendors that make them in different lengths too.

Only thing I would be concerned about is that canopies are not flat. They have a slight arc front to back and side to side so those stiff rails might not conform to the roof line easily depending on how rigid they are...

I honestly think Yakima/Thule rates all their racks/tracks/etc low to avoid any liability issues... Same with Leer/ARE/etc. Those Surco tracks look pretty beefy, but they are only going to be as strong as the fiberglass it is mounted to or the bolts used to mount them on the camper.

Just my 2 cents... I used Yakima tracks and have no issues running 70+mph with both a 70 lb canoe and a 90 lb kayak mounted on the camper alone.

I ordered Yakima rails today. That way when I get my Prinsu my topper will be ready to go.

Anyone know what the screw holes at the end of the 80/20 are tapped to?

Ha, wouldn't know the difference, so I assume I have the standard bars lol.

What's the difference in them, besides the HDbars being stronger? Are they larger?

Yes, 1/4"-20. Holes are typically only tapped to a depth of about 1.25" so plan accordingly if you are getting new hardware. 1" length works the best.

My Sungtop didn't come with rails.

If I want to get some installed so I can mount a cap rack, what should I go with?
