the GF has a rebel 6 that i am going to try to "borrow" for the trip. If not i am usually impressed with the photos my phone takes.

 

Word! I was looking at a Rebel 6 as well!

I think I would just take more photos if I had a camera instead of a phone with me, plus using a 10-18mm lenses for wide landscapes will be nice.

 

Yeah i should look up how much one of those are.... May get one for the gf for her bday.

 

Hahaha. Well kinda as she just got it about 6 months ago, but she doesnt use it much... we are going camping this weekend, i am going to tell her to take the camera and we will see how much she uses it...

Done!

Install went pretty easy on these except for that I broke three of the stock bolt heads for the top portion of this... luckily the bolts that come with the ARB awnings are the exact same thread and worked perfectly to replace with! My bed had not moved much, but I already like the more tiedown points that these will provide!

Also got to use my new cordless impact and really like the way it worked for this install!

 

If you dont repurpose those d rings let me know, i will take them off your hands... I wan to see if i can get a couple more mount tie down points in the back. I have also see the track systems for tie down, 1 looked real nice but i dont remember the name of the brand.

 

I will let you know! I really don't have a use for them at the moment. So shall see.

Actually i just realized that my rent lease is up in May, hopefully the TN trip wont affect my move... i may end up staying another year....

 

Oh god.... if it was not so close to going to Tennessee I would be all about it. I have been wanting to go down there to the beach soon.

I am already saving for the Tennessee trip for gas and such now...

Believe me i want to go. I am already talking to a realtor to help me find a place quick so i dont have to miss the trip.
