    RE: MET

    From Eldorado NF twitter:
"MET Rd Info: Very icy from Sly Park to Bonetti. Deeper snow at Pebble Cnyn. Reports say most 4x's still cant make it past North/South Rd."

You wont get to or past Little Pebble Canyon. Lots of ice from Sly Park until snow (but I assume the rain that falls will fix that). A buddy on 40's got stuck before Pebble Canyon after they made it up the little hill (most are not making it up that hill) that everyone has trouble with. Three more rigs with him got a tiny bit further and had to turn back and reported no tracks beyond them. This was the report from last weekend. He provided video evidence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYo8-V8jgJE with the sun out it made the deep snow soft and he could no longer float on it. That Willys in the video on 39's couldn't even float on it.

We're gonna go play up saddleback ridge I'd be stoked if we make it to the look out but highly unlikely should be fresh snow though. I have never seen anyone else out when up there in the past

Good luck. if there is snow I would be shocked if you got up the the first intersection. Also the MVUM has the road to the lookout as seasonal, so you should find a gate if you can get to it. Post up the results, that is a awesome road if it is still passable

Hey everyone! I'm planning to do a little road trip with my rig from Seattle to San Jose from the 7th-14th. Will there be any meets or wheeling trip between those dates? If so count me in!

I live in citrus heights and feel like this might be backtracking for me. Haven't googled it yet though. Any suggestions?

It's not just roll up 5 to 70 into marysville then take 20 out of town

That'll work. Instead of going east, then north, we're going north, then east. That's why your confused, And we're off 80, not 50. Kinda. Going this way we bypass Grass Valley, and Nevada City.

Thank you everyone for making today happen. For bailing me out when I got stuck. For diggin out the path in front. For providing me with a beer. For being cool with my dogs. For everything. It was an awesome day for me. I hope you all had a blast as well and made it home / to your destinations safe.
