It's just a feeler thread, meaning no one is obligated to buy anything once he puts out a price.

Per the main post: "I still need to test fit and calculate manufacturing costs, but it IS coming. Please be patient as I still need to figure out all back end details."

I can't blame him for not putting up a blanket guess price. I sure as heck wouldn't given the finicky nature of TW users in these feeler threads anyway.

I totally get that's it's a feeler thread. I read that and I took it for what it is. Already someone was out or confused for not knowing that it was just the bracket. Of course, I can't help them with that as it states. This is the difference between a hobby and a business. There is no sense on a feeler thread and NOT EVEN AN IDEA how much a bracket would cost. It could be "x" amount of dollars two but looking to get it down to "y" amount if enough people buy. I know that if I want something it is what it is. I know there is people that want but for less. No money no bracket. I could understand a feeler for the WHOLE kit ( which no one has mentioned what that costs ) but a bracket?

Idk what to tell ya @Do58, if you are so concerned about the uncertainty come back later down the road. I'm not gunna stick my foot my in my mouth and potentially give false information to members on here just because you have your panties in a bunch. @JdevTac thank you, you hit the nail on the head.

Bracket only. You have to source your own Motor. The bracket has to be manufactured. You cant just source the bracket from another vehicle like the motor as the part technically doesn't exist. That's what holds up most, if not all, who want to do this project. The plan is to get everyone a bracket so they can complete their kit

I'm excited OP:thumbsup: At least you're trying to make something for everyone. The BenWa thread has been dead for years except for people making their own setups. It'll be nice if you get something going and we can all have the "similar" setup which will help everyone with install problems.

Edit: I guess my main point is I can't make my own bracket. I probably can't think of a way to install the motor. I suck at anything electrical and wiring. And with this thread there's a small chance (really small) I might be able to pull this off with enough help from others who use this same setup.

For y'all that are creative and have used other methods, great. It'll just be nice to have a thread where maybe 10+ people use the same setup.

Me too man! :drunk: this is a good example of no good deed going unpunished.. I clearly stated that more info would trickle in and that theres no obligation. Trying to do my best working a full time job and only asked that everyone be patient, guess that's not good enough :notsure:

Shucks I thought this came with an actuator, new rear window, or maybe just a whole new truck...the thread title misled me. You should change it to something like "Power Sliding Rear Window BRACKET feeler". Oh, wait....

You are correct! Man that's too bad that you had to take a day off just for that haha. I'll let you know, but with the move and my home is Alabama there's most likely no chance of me being near here anytime soon. I don't mind answering any questions to help out though. The best bet would be find a local, handy member. It's actually pretty simple. Hardest part is definitely sourcing the bracket.

The Bracket is in!! I will need to do some test fitting and confirmation this weekend but it looks like this will start getting produced next week if all goes well!!
The plan is to at least have 50 made. When the time comes I'll send you a PM and will give you a few days to respond, then I will move on to the next guy. I understand shit happens and life gets busy sometimes, but I will not hold and wait for you to make your mind up on this mod especially when the guy behind you is dying to do it. All I ask is you be transparent with me once you are messaged.
Payment will be Paypal only. Looks like it will come out to around $45 shipped to your door. Unless I was told incorrect information, this will be under 50 dollars. Again this is an ESTIMATE but I wanted to give you guys something since $$ is obviously a key component to this decision.
Again please be patient as I am trying my best to get this done. As soon as I have an update or any changes occur you will be notified immediately. We are getting close guys! Have a great weekend!

Stupid question, please don't flame me if it has been answered before. I see in BenWA's original post that he is using a typical window regulator. Others have reporting using a regulator from a Trailblazer. Would this part work and have all the necessary components save the electrical and mounting side? https://www.amazon.com/Regulator-As...&sr=1-1&keywords=trailblazer+window+regulator

If this price sticks, that's a GREAT price. I had mine machined as a one time job and it cost me $68 locally. Good job making this a fair, reasonable price Garrett!
I don't see why that wouldn't work. It would definitely have to be disassembled to work for this mod though. The only issue I see is cable length. You need enough cable length to go from where the motor is mounted to both sides of the rear window where it'll connect to the bracket. Then on top of that you also need enough length to allow for window travel (about 12"). I believe a new 02 trailblazer regulator is about the same cost and will have enough cable to work with.

edit: I now notice that is the same as a trailblazer regulator so that should work.
As long as the window is the same width this bracket should work for access cabs!

I installed my own kit when I had an 08 Access Cab. Used a Ridgeline rear glass regulator, mount it in a metal bracket with a 90* bend on the bottom.

Production will begin this week! These do take awhile to make so I ask that you continue to be patient. Final shipped price to your door is $49!! I will begin messaging payment instructions in about 2 weeks. I feel that is more than enough time to be "ready" once i send out PM instructions. There is a lot of interest and few brackets, so i will march down the list to accommodate those who are ready to kick ass with this mod! Stay tuned for payment/shipping info later this month! Have a great week everybody!

    It is what it is!
I got a question Andy on wiring the Sienna switch...is the illumination portion internally connected or does a separate power and ground have to be used?
    Thanks,
    Tim

My illumination actually isn't working. I've been meaning to troubleshoot it, but its a low priority. I followed a writeup for the switch that I think was done by @adio
