Winch is in....we'll see how it holds up during recoveries with a 12k# winch

All the talk about the ebay bumper aside... I saw several posts about trailer hitches not being able to be used with some plate bumpers. I am not an expert on trailer hitches. I just use one to pull my boat and it was a dealer installed option when I bought the truck new. Look at the photos and tell me if I am going to have issues with a rear plate bumper and this hitch. Thanks.

In case anyone is wondering that thing strapped to the truck in the upper right of the 2nd photo is a nylon ballistic knife.

Since this bumper is a POS I doubt it uses all the right holes but any good aftermarket bumper won't work with a hitch due to it using the same mount points as the hitch.

good to know. My need for a hitch far outweighs my want of a plate bumper.

Anyone here see the news that Yeti and RTIC have reached an agreement? Looks like RTIC will be redesigning their products, both companies have considered it a win. Thought it kind of related to the most recent talk. Now I'm off to buy an RTIC while they're on sale. I'm sure the bolt holes won't line up for shit, the crappy Chinese plastic will most likely fall apart, and it definitely won't hold ice since it's a "fake" yeti. Oh yea, Free Shipping too!!!

Hard to tell from the picture but it looks pretty tight. Did you leave space been the bumper and fenders/flares?

Yes, and I got really stuck on Sunday, used the 12k lb winch for all it was worth and bumper stayed put.could be the first review of the bumpers performance under serious recovery

I contacted the company about the fitment of the lower piece. They are sending me an entire new bottom piece.

I bought the bumper used off craigslist

    Pretty awesome customer service.

    enough to have fun

What light bar??? also Length?? Looks great!

Used the eBay bumper to get pulled out of a gully! I also ran it into a tree in a tight spot, and besides a mark on the bumper, no issues!
