You can do the same in the BST subforums::

 

instead of wanting to omit JUST the 3rd gen subforum, just go to the subforum where you want to search in, and you can search JUST in there by clicking that box.

This may not be a popular response to this thread.

However, I think that the number of people who actually use the search feature is underrepresented because they just find the info and move on.

I spend most my day searching stuff up on Tacoma world. I find a lot of the information to be old or opinions from a few years ago. Sometimes it's nice to get new answers on old questions.

OK...Did a search on how to do a search. 2nd result was in 3rd gen.

 

If you searched you would have found there are plenty of threads on people not using search already

 

Most times I find the search useless. Like many have said, too many hits from other sections or irrelevant information. I always start there and I do find stuff occasionally but I find I have to sort thru tons of crap
