Let the record show that the diffs and hubs were solid when he got the truck. ;)

He had a lot of fun with it but broke a lot of parts.

Corner of Kearny Mesa and Convoy, Kearny Mesa Auto Paint. I've bought from them twice and are good about matching my gay blue color. Its pretty easy with a HF sprayer and some patience.

Technically it was never fully color matched, when I bought it the hood was white and it was missing a bedside but the rest was all green and looked nicely done. Then I got some bedsides and rattle canned them black, then I got new front fenders which were white. So I figured that this was a good time to change colors. And yea I have the 5.3 swapped truck

Yea it seemed like he was definitely using the truck. Lol

I'll check em out. And yea that's the plan using a HF paint gun. A buddy of mine has painted his Silverado like 3 times, pretty much whenever he gets bored and he's gotten pretty good he's gonna help me, hopefully it turns out decent

Looks like American motorsports is back to building bad ass shit :pout:. You would think with such an awesome reputation they would at least be smart enough to change their name.

I don't really follow what the LT kit market looks like because I have one on my truck so I don't need any more. But regarding the MCM Fab kit with stock bearings, I don't personally care what it's called. It's got 1500 hard race miles, and a handful of podium finishes. And the stock bearings are fine. If the "Race" kit on our race truck that has won races is not a "race kit" because it's got stock bearings, I'm totally cool with that. :)

    If only this was 4x4...

Just not a lot of options out there for 4x4 trucks who want more then 14'' travel.

I do love my "standard" MCM LT kit though. Thing has held up great!

yes. I'm working on something with a friend of mine now. it's a kit that's one a few trucks already. I want to say with a shock tower, it's in the 17-18" range. same travel with 4wd. its wide though.

Finally getting something done, got in contact with my old high school welding teacher and got to use his bender.
    IMAG0456.jpg
Just a cheap speedway motors bender, I was shooting for 50 degrees and gave it 2 degrees of spring back.
    IMAG0457.jpg
I'd say it's right on the money
    IMAG0458.jpg
Like a glove, gave my self a couple of extra inches so I'll have to cut some off the bottom on both sides
