Yeah, it isn't very good, but I doubt the Supai are much into paying a webmaster for a high quality site!

Would love to go again. I remember some folks telling me a little bit after Beaver falls was another waterfall, and a lot of good cliff jumping spots.

I have the same and the 36 Qt version. They perform just as well as coolers that cost triple the amount.

And then someone saw him standing in the cold and put him in the back of their SUV because he looked cold.

When I was there, 9 years ago, they said I needed to reserve, pay before heading down. I got to the trailhead, asked, the guides said, just go and pay at the office at the campground. And that was during busy summer time. be prepared, no water until you get the creek. That canyon can get hot.
    Enjoy.

If you haven't been, it is a very cool place to go. The water is incredible. Mooney falls, when I went, had a trail to see the falls that was cut through the rock. Tight a bit, but fun. Named after a guy ... read the story.
Couldn't find the obvious trail down to beaver Falls and the river, but had fun anyway.

yeah i loved crawling through the caves and climbing down the ladders to get to Mooney falls. Beaver falls was a nice day hike, definitely spent about a whole day doing that. also ladders to climb over obstacles.

I had to Google the baby bison thing... first I'd heard of it. What doooshes.

I had to laugh at the terms of dude's probation though. Pretty sure he won't be doing that again after being shamed in international media.

Shamash Kassam was fined after pleading guilty to a wildlife disturbance citation, according to the CBC. As part of his probation, he was also told that he “shall not pick up any more bison,” CBC reports.

Woohoo! Tent and footprint arrived today. They upgraded me to 2-day shipping due to a delay in them shipping. It looks like I ended up getting the Limestone 4 tent AND footprint for only $128.18! I can't believe that. Hopefully we'll break it in tomorrow night!

If you are keeping the basket buy a cheap delrin cutting board, cut off four pieces, drill a couple holes per piece and cut a slot into each so that they slip over the wire tabs and you can secure them with small zip ties to make it fit. If returning the basket for a different size then screw all that and keep the cutting board for camping use.

    EDIT: Duck you autocorrect.

Just a bunch of old crap
Bolt it to wooden or cutting board rails with some small u-bolts from the hardware store. Measure, cut, drill, bolt, done.

Yeah, probably don't see the same effect here. In the summer it's daylight from 5am to 10p.m. around the solstice. Plus I'm a light sleeper, always listening for things that go bump in the night. No way do I sleep better out camping!
