Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    • Bad/missing ground
    • Crank Position sensor
    • Igniter
You obviously had it before the teardown so you need to go through and doubt check all the connections.

You verified all 4 cylinders have no spark?

No I haven't done all cylinders just number 1 so I will check that. Is there a ground that I could have missed hooking back up possibly? I was wondering about the crank sensor as well. How about the ignitor where is that located?

It seems I memba reading months ago of someone having a bad circuit opening relay causing something like this or maybe that was a suggestion for the owner to check.

Scratch the igniter. I just realized your truck doesn't have one.

There should be a ground strap on the rear passé side of the head that went to the firewall (if I remember correctly)

And you might want to check the fuses just incase. Who knows, maybe it is something simple.

Well guys she lives!!! The ground that runs from the coils was loose. But now I have 2 more small problems. It is leaking oil from the chain tensioner, there is a bad spot in the gasket. And there is a crack in my valve cover! Not sure how the crack got there as it was not there before the tear down and sat on the bench the entire time I was working on it. So on to more projects.

You can go to www.toyota.com click on "owners", sign up and enter the VIN. If the truck has ever been serviced by a Toyota dealer it will show you what was done.
Once you do sign up you can enter your own maintenance. No one else can look what you put in.
