Hey man, just got my pods and also my bar. What fuse did you tap for the switches that you added to the cali harness for both? I am mechanically challenged and am not sure how to install it and tap both the bars while wiring the new switches they have into the harness. Thanks for the help brother!

 

Anyone use rigid hyperspots? I'd be curious as to how much light/glare reflects off the hood w/ their very narrow beam range...

 

Just what are you guys looking for in the ditch..? Road kill for dinner?...empty beer bottles for the deposit $?.... or deer and other animals before they get in front of you..?? Just curious.!

 

I need them with amber covers for heavy snow and fog also going to run it with a 32 inch bumper stealth bar for animals.

If you have a choice between "driving" or "flood" or "spot" style lights for your ditch lights, what would be the better choice? Using Rigid's cool viewer app thing, feels like driving or flood are the 2 best options.

Great timing on your post.... i was literally looking at the rigid site about that exact light. I like that mount as well. I saw one somewhere that also had an antenna mount integrated, but i havent decided. Looks awesome btw!

I run the rigid duallys spots. I use CBI off-road brackets.

 

Nice setup! This ditch bracket looks like it's a lower profile on the hood than other brackets. Is that true or is it just the angle of the pic? Also, did you not have to use a light bracket to mount the pods to the ditch bracket? Looks flushed.

 

Not sure, haven't compared them to the other brackets. I can say they are heave duty, stable, and I'm really happy with them.

The SS come with mounting brackets, they're pretty low profile. Took 15 minutes to physically install, still finalizing the wiring.
