Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

Oregon suspended new strength coach Irele Oderinde one month without pay after recent workouts led to the hospitalization of three players.

The Ducks recently hired new head coach Willie Taggart, who assembled a coaching staff that was looking to make an impression on the program. That led to some harsh workouts for the program’s players beginning last week, resulting in the hospitalization of three players.

As a result, Oderinde, who led the conditioning workouts, has been suspended for a month without pay, the school said Tuesday. Jim Radcliffe will take over in the meantime.

    Taggart issued the following apology:

The good news is one of the players has been released from the hospital, while two others are in good condition.

Just confirmed with Riverbend Hospital that Doug Brenner has been released. Sam Poutasi and Cam McCormick remain in "good" condition.

Yep. I've read all about it. So, the rest of the players have expressed to the media that the workouts weren't as bad as some made it out to be. Some of the players who fell out either went too hard the whole time, or they weren't conditioned enough to even start these workouts. This new S&C coach has been with Taggart for a while.

But, I also understand that you can't expect these kids to go full out like this directly after a season, and after a large Christmas break when they didn't even play in a bowl. The S&C coach should have been suspended. What I have also seen and been told is that a lot of these same players who were complaining/falling out of practice were the same ones who gave up on conditioning last year. This may have been what led to the 2nd half season let down the team had.

Seems that La State is serious about offense... They should be, I suppose. I think they're going to be one of the most interesting programs to watch next year.

Its my third favorite day of the college football year!

Oregon is racking up some recruits with a new HC. Went from 40th nationally with Helf, to in the high teens with Taggart and a few more high profile kids left to sign.

Dawgs have signed almost 2000 lbs of offensive line today. Top 3 class nationally and best class in a long time for us, if not best ever.

A&M RB James White transfers to Lamar. He was a quality backup, but being 3rd behind Trayveon Williams and Keith Ford, I completely understand why he's leaving.

Best since stafford/knowshon, for sure. Possibility to be one of the best for sure. Hated not getting Solomon though.

Oregon picks up the 16th ranked (scout) class. Just 2 months ago we were the #49 with Helfrich at the helm. Holy crap can Taggart recruit. The pick up of the JC lineman, and Lenoir from CA really helped cement this class.

Yeah read it earlier. It's disgusting. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with the death penalty on this one. The corruption was institutional. It went from the bottom to the very top.
