Used but still rocking them.

Would like to upgrade myself. Nothing wrong with these, the valving could be tweaked. Im thinking of the either the TC relocation or Solo maybe someday. Not sure though.

 

I had to Google what a wildernest was, looks pretty sweet.

I talked to that guy with the DC in Idaho, we really considered driving there this weekend. I'm really torn on what I'd do with a first gen. I really think a DC would be a great toy while still being comfortable and having some room , but that also kinda how my 2nd gen has ended up. Its no longer the best daily driver, not sure I need two of those.

They are only 8'' and 8.5'' stroke.

Mikes are moved quite a bit to take advantage of the travel they have to give him more.

Right now i am near the middle of the stroke this.

 

Haha well that's what I'm not sure of yet. We got to talking the other day, and decided it would probably be a good idea to have a 3rd vehicle around as I usually leave mine at work most of the week.

Something like the little 93 would be awesome to run around in.

Sounds like an early taco/4runner/truck would suit you. Should be able to find one cheap. We found one local for 3500 and it's perfect for that. Needed some love but that's to be expected.

 

Definitely more than its worth to the average person. There's one just like it, just not as fixed up down in Denver for 3500, and could probably get it for a bit less.

 

Oh yeah, I can see it now. Smart car and a car seat, my cool factor is going through the roof!

Yea i mean it is super killer nice and clean. But 7500 is Tacoma money..lot of sentimental value in that price. Which is understandable.

Pretty sure they are available on multiple lengths depending on your need. The ones monte got were just OEM replacemets if one is 8 and the other is 8.5. I recall seeing 10" strokes and 12s too.

FWIW, both of mine are 8.5" stroke.

 

Go drive the 1st gen 4 door. They drive really nice.

 

To be completely honest I've thought of buying a smart car if the price is right and swapping a 1k cc bike motor into it (like Hayabusa style) with the dogbox so it shifts like a bike. That way you could be cool in a smart car!

 

Valley of the -40 wind chills is more accurate, only advantage is that wind generally blows all the snow to Crowheart the day after it falls and you don't really have to shovel or plow.
