Thank you. Your silver sky looks dope. Tires make that look beastly! I am going to go with mobtown armor too, I think there stuff looks good and seems to be quality stuff.

Thanks man. Agreed the wheels and tires make it a lot better looking in stock form. Definitely worth it, sucks your not closer to pick up from them, they are great guys.

It's an east coast company I think, and I'm all the way in Oregon. I ended up picking up the tailgate armor on sale from them, shipping was as much as the piece was. So that will be my first mod. I have my eyes on some Ambit RR4 rims in matte bronze https://www.ambitwheels.com/collections/race-relations-truck-wheels-1/rr4 . How are those ray 10's? Do they seem to have soft paint or do they hold up somewhat? Sad I missed the group buy on those they looks sick!

Yes, Joe and the gang are good people, they are in Maryland. SCS wheels are the nicest wheels I've had/seen as far as quality and Vin and the gang are also another stand up vendor here. Nice. I think they are doing another group buy on the copper customs.

They don't discount their wheels, but they do unique color way/buys. You can get blemished one's though on sale. They are just limited in quantity/how often they get shipments which is why they're hard to come by.

Oh I see. Quality usually costs a little bit. What size rims did you go with? I'm nervous that if I get 17's I'm worried my ride quality may go down until a suspension lift and bigger tires.

Nah, I had 17'' 265/70r17 ko2s on my 2016 which came stock with 16''s. Your ride quality will be dependent on the tire more than the wheel. For instance, mine are 16'' and I was set on ko2s so only had E rated to pick from which is a stiffer tire with more ply so harsher on the road. The more aggressive/heavier tire the harsher ride. I did like the 265/70r17's on my 16 since they come in C rating for the ko2s hardly noticed a difference in ride quality over stock.

You just help me make my choice on 17's the C rating will be fine for me so far. I havnt done nor do I think I will do any crazy off-roading on sharp ass rocks or anything. I just can't turn down the ko2's there just to perfect on the Tacoma.

And even in C rating they are trail worthy. Great choice man.

It's a great place, a few naysayers and people that struggle interwebbing, but most of us will jump to help a TW brother in need, as long as you have tough skin and can laugh at yourself you'll fit right in, make sure to start a build thread, in for the sub.

As she sits now. Hondo garage radio knobs and un-holy dash mount. Best radio knobs, get them, dont think about it, just get them.

When life calls you have to go. But you can always love your Tacoma. I really want the Rigid Adapt lights when those come out. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rGsQgTjQMVA&feature=youtu.be You will have to post them pics up when you do I like to look at pics of people's ride for ideas.

Look into them you can change the beam of light as you please between spot light and flood light and anything in between. I think they look sweet too!
EDIT, They also have RGB color selection too.

Beautiful ride. That color is just perfect! Thos rims looks good on there. I want to get rid of my cogs but it looks like mobtown is putting sliders up for sale maybe so rims may have to wait.
