As mentioned by others, I too used a BJ press from Autozone to get the BJ out of the spindle. It took a bit of patience to figure out the right combo of adapters to make it work but it eventually popped out with a loud bang. If you have trouble getting it out, you can also remove the spindle completely and take it to shop to have them press out the old BJ. They can do it in a few minutes. Removing the BJ is definitely the most difficult part of the job (I thought).

Well guys, after hammering on it for three days, I still couldn't get the ball joints out of the spindle.

I'm cheating and had my local shop install the TC control arms. I'm hoping from there, I can install the remainder of the lift myself.

Why didn't you just take the spindle to a shop and have them press the ball joint out? I'm sure it would have been cheaper than having them install the arms. Especially since you already had the UBJ separated.

Crap! Didn't realize you were done with it. HAHA...video for others in case they run into any issues on 2nd Gens.

Too bad that's for a 2nd gen, and the op has a 1st...

Most of the methods are the same and can apply to the 1st gen, except for the upper ball joint is totally different. It's basiacally upside down and requires the use of a plug that replaces the ball joint.
