I passed the inspection without mud flaps. I got pulled over the other night 1/31 at like 9pm, I'm thinking it was them trying to reach a quota or something if that's a thing.

It's all good now, ticket cleared, and maybe I'll go on drive tomorrow and they'll "accidentally" get torn off.

It's on the internet now can't delete it.

Supposedly the quota is false, but the stupid tickets increase towards the end of the month, so I dunno.:p I been pulled over for stuff like that too, like snow on the rear window..
Don't you have an inspection sticker or something that says you passed?
I guess it may be hard to prove you had those tires on it during inspection, maybe he wa thinking you put them on afterwards.

I know you're not rolling in money, but the removable flaps like the ones @LogCabins mentioned are exactly what I have on my jeep, which lives back home in Utah. Pull two pins and throw them in the back and I can wheel it without worrying about tearing them off the jeep.

Or, even better, do like @Star-Lord mentioned and just unscrew those shits when you wheel and screw em back on to keep the USP off of you.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I drove mine across the state to do some welding for my Dad. Got weird looks from people at a gas station in a small town when I used my OBA to air up after adverse road conditions.

    $$$
Took everything out of it. All my tools, gear, safety stuff, emptied the glove box and center console. Took my RTT and awning off and emptied the bed. All so I can sell it.

Just kidding. I'm getting it detailed tomorrow :p

SCS SR8 wheels and blacked-out grill and bumpers . . . now just waiting for Ethan's awsome stainless steel skid plate and Rocky Road rock sliders to finish her off.

    I think you're right. That's a big'n. Almost 34".

Edit: Scratch that. I was looking at 17s.
