The aytoanything 20% code didn't work for this.

4WP is full price right now.

    So I'm kinda stuck fellas.

My brake peddle sporadically will require me to pump once or 2-3 times for a firm feel while braking. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to where I'm always thinking about it when I need to use my brakes.

-I've bled the brakes a few times, no help.
-Doesn't appear to have a stuck caliper nor a warped rotor.

Is it possible there's a vacuum leak somewhere causing this issue? I need to get this sorted but can't find anything to cause it.

Have your truck running and listen for vacuum leak near brake booster. Do it when fully warmed up and cold.

I took a quick gander before I left, either I missed the lines or there aren't any that are attached to the booster?

I've bled the whole system with no luck. Saturday I'm gunna pull the abs fuse and drive around and see if it's the abs pump or not. If it still gives me problems, I'm assuming it's the MC.

I figured if the MC was bad it would cause no braking at all? Maybe there's just a seal in it that's going bad? Stupid truck.... lol I only have like 86k on her..

I wasn't able to bleed mine myself when I changed out the lines, I had to have it done. I wonder if you have the same problem.

I haven't touched anything brake related since I put my SS lines on back like...3 years ago? Only have added maybe.... 10-15K miles since then.

From what I have read in other threads on this issue, its the center seal in your MC that can end up going bad. That, and not following bleeding procedures properly. But that isn't your issue because you haven't touched your brakes.

Technically you have to take them to the dealer to bleed the brakes correctly. They hook up their widget to the OBD port and cycle the pump a certain way to force the air out. Be careful pulling the fuse, with the ABS pump dead you get about three pumps and then no brakes. Rock hard pedal, stand on it like it owes you money and it still won't stop.

Well I'm not sure how the shit I missed it... but totally have a shot wheel bearing. I swore when I checked em they were fine. But it's definitely the cause of my brake problem. I feel like like an idiot.

Question to you guys who bought the complete hub assembly from Bama on here.

Does the seal in the inside of hub that my finger is on (see attachment) come with the assembly from him? I'm assuming this was muffed and let water in... or I bash to much stuff when I'm out, whatever lol.

Simulposted. I don't know if his comes with it or not, I ordered all the stuff from Mr T and swapped them myself. With no press, a block of wood, and a BFH. It sucks but it can be done if you're in a pinch.

So you're saying last time I did my brakes and bled em the old fashioned way, I left air in the system? That's crazy hard to believe.... I trust you but I haven't had a problem? ?

I didn't say that. If you read the manual that's how it supposed to get done. I replaced all of my lines when I swapped the rear axle (had disks on it) and was able to bleed them the redneck way, but I could see how if air made it all the way into the ABS manifold it would be darn hard to get out without using the ABS pump to do the work for you.

I think you have to order the seal separate... But I can't remember. I did both of mine from him and they have been great since
