Mine fits pretty well in the back of my AC, only 12' kayak though. Tried a 14' canoe and I didn't feel as confident.

Not sure if anybody mentioned the T-Bone yet, but my buddy has one for his 14' kayaks and it's very well put together. Little pricier than the harbor freight ones, personally think it would be worth it if you used one a lot. http://boonedoxusa.com/products/t-bone-bed-extender

Btw anybody here have the Tacoma that jumped in the back of this picture of mine?

Prices on line.. that is for one right? NOT a set of two?
I found Rhino Racks Has the same style but it clearly states and shows 2 racks.

Also, what do you have them mounted to?

They are sold in sets, so you should get two per set. I had them on my factory rack on our Toyota Sienna. I just bought the Tacoma and had a Leer 180 cap installed with a Thule rack on it. So the Thule Hall-a-Port's will be installed on that. We have 12' and a 14' kayaks so I may have to move one of the crossbars to the cab to center the kayaks better.

I'll have to check them out. If I do the rack what do you think the best way would be to get off/on?
The Yakima load bar looks pretty slick

Thanks! It is VERY unclear they are sold as a set..
Since I'm mounting to a PRINSU rack I should be able to use the whole length of the cab nicely for the 12' YAKS.
I also intend to have a custom made stainless steel or aluminum sheet made to fit the full length and half the width of the PRINSU to stand on for easier loading.

Still pricey for the THULE however and I think were going with the Rhino system.
So buy a set of these

And a set of these, Total 387$ Canadian on Amazon with free shipping.

If you have a 6 ft bed you should not need the extender. Mine feel free lure is a little over 11 1/2 foot. Hangs over about 3 1/2 feet.

cool little trailer, I have pretty much the same one and have been thinking about doing the same thing. Do you have any more pics? It looks like you used plumbing pipe flange fittings for the racks, that is brilliant!

I did. I bought a generic kayak rack and used plumbing pipe because it allowed me to not HAVE to weld to my trailer. I'll take more pics tonight and post em up for you!

From start to finish..beater and rusty as hell.
    Broken boards and bad wiring.

Decking, fishing pole box, and 10x paint which is like asphalt..

Then piping for kayak and bike mounts. Husky box mounted.

The kayak won't allow the tailgate to come up which access my rods..so it's a little low budget system to prevent theft. If they want it they can get it but takes a little work.

I would have gone with a trailer, but I didn't wanna have a parking issue at the beach and I can still parallel park in a tight space, but nice work!

Luckily in Colorado (the third coast?) beach parking is a non issue! I have thought about upping the leaf pack and throwing on some 35s..

Thanks for taking the time to post up the pics, cool little trailer! Gives me some ideas for sure. It is seriously about the same one I have, mine only has 13" wheels on it, mine all beat to hell I've had it for like 13 years. I was thinking about throwing a new axle and fabbing some new fenders to get some bigger wheels/tires on there. I did flip the axle to gain some more clearance, and it doesn't scrape when going into a steep driveway, etc. Good work!

5ft. bed, four kayaks, two 12' and two 10'. Rope securing them at both ends...using carabiners through the kayak handles. Use another strap to secure em a bit more over the top. Works like a charm, no need for an extender.
