Shiner (Spoetzl Brewery) here in TX does a decent Bock but it's nowhere near the level of maltiness that you find in the German versions.

If everyone would carry Shiner Bock everywhere its all I would drink.
I have enough trouble finding it in the store. Cant find cans. Trying to figure that one out, don't want to take glass on trips.

Our Ice Festival starts next weekend (or one after?). They have Ice Bars here, along with other typical sculptures. Not much for the crowds at night and the cold but really like watching them work on the blocks of ice with chainsaws to create their works of art. Some are amazing.

Hey Kevin here and check in on everyone to see what is happening from time to time. Staying busy trying to clean the house and garage. Going to finally make it to the dump today the back of the truck is really full now.

Thanks for asking, just kind of waiting on docs now and a plan of action for the kid the waiting is the hard part. Bull shit it is all hard to be honest.

A few homebrew gatherings around. I've thought about it but the sourcing of quality ingredients is where I think I'd run into problems. I've talked to some of the brewmeisters around here and they put their orders in three to five years in advance.

That's some serious dedication to wait 3 to 5 years for orders. I'd assume they would be prepaid orders?

These are the small to medium sized Micro guys. They're waiting on stuff primarily grown in the north west. The big boys get the larger allocations and the little guys get what's left.

Seems like the big ones could make a little side money from doing a few sales to the smaller ones.

The smaller ones keep getting bought out. One of my favorites, Revolver Brewing was purchased by Miller.
