I think it would work if you just let the front end of the skid loose.

*goes back to find the post where you didn't want to do something without a lift...*:luvya:

My skids were always a battle. They weigh a metric fuck ton and it's a work out trying to hold one up while laying on my back, arm fully extended to hold it from the center, and then ratchet with the other hand.

That all got a lot easier once I got a proper floor jack and an impact gun, however. It may still take the same amount of time, but about 1/5 of the effort.

I've been busy with the little BS mods on the GX... Removed the running boards and hated how it looked afterward so I cut the top off and re-installed it. Much more "finished" look. Plastidipped the rear emblems, replaced all of the dome lights, door lights, reverse lights and license plate lights with LEDS.

Today my bluetooth module should get here so I can finally listen to music other than the radio.

Next week the roof rack, weather tech liners, and HIDs should get here.

And the suspension will be ordered... *which reminds me I owe Jon (John?) at Mule a call. Apparently he is a ghost that reads this thread and saw me mention my fears of the BP-51. He left me a voicemail earlier this week about it and I forgot to call him back. Nice guy.

I had back surgery and was rehearing at the same time  but yes a floor jack is pretty much a requirement for skids.. especially for those of us with 1/4" steel ones

But I think it's Jon Snow, the new shop manager ghosts this thread.

Isn't Jon Snow the explorer dude in Pocahontas?

    Never mind, that's John Smith.

Stan's is the only BBQ type place I have been around there. It was pretty good. Nothing special.

I have eaten at a LOT of places in Issaquah and haven't disliked any of them.

XXX is good on a nice day where you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. On a rainy day I think it would suck.

We built the cowling for the Muncey Atlas restoration a couple years ago at the U-11 shop. Fun project. We just finished the trailer for Muscutel's restoration of the '73 Pak, it's awesome too!
I don't think Kiley has raced in a while. She kinda killed her opportunities with her mouth a couple years ago, but who knows what could happen? We are all just fighting to keep it alive.
I recent got into outboards a little, they are great fun! I know Seabold fairly well in the F1 world and our sponsor is involved with them too, Perters&May. It's been an extremely rewarding hobby, met a lot of cool people and travelled the world doing it. These days I'm full time dad, don't get to the shop very often and only run the west coast events.

I think we ate at a place called the egg and us last time we were here to drop the truck off at Mule in the morning. We thought it was pretty good.

We just went to the Ram since we were in that shopping area. Waiting on food now...well see
